  7. Version 1.3 is NOT a free upgrade.  Your version 1.2 and earlier registration
  8. number WILL NOT work with this newer version.  You must contact Omnitrend at

  11. INSTALLATION OVERVIEW
  12.  
  13. The setup program provided by PageMaster installs all the 
  14. necessary components.  A program group will also be created from 
  15. which you can launch the application.
  16.  
  17. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
  18.  
  19. For extensive help on any of the dialog boxes presented by the 
  20. Setup program during installation, press the F1 key or choose the 
  21. Help button in the dialog box.
  22.  
  23. To run Setup for installation of WireTap
  24.  
  25. 1.  If Windows is not already running, follow the procedure for 
  26.     starting Windows.  
  27. 2.  From the File Menu in the Program Manager, choose Run.  In 
  28.     the Command Line box, type the drive letter and path to the 
  29.     location of the PageMaster files, followed by \SETUP.  For 
  30.     example, "G:\DOWNLOADS\SETUP".
  31. 3.  Choose the OK button or press ENTER.

  33. THE INSTALLATION PROCESS
  34.  
  35. There are four steps to the installation process.  The Setup 
  36. program does the following:
  37.  
  38. 1. Asks you where to install PageMaster.  Its default location is
  39.    the C:\PAGEMSTR directory.  If this directory doesn't exist, 
  40.    Setup will create it for you.
  41. 2. Installs the PageMaster program files.
  42. 3. Creates a Program Group entitled "PageMaster" and places it in
  43.    the Program Manager window.
  44. 4. Notifies you that setup is complete.

  46. VERSION CHANGES

  48. The following changes were made from previous versions of the
  49. software:

  53. o Added EMail paging support for Microsoft Mail
  54. o Allow page messages of any length.  Messages that are longer than the
  55.   maxumim allowed page length will be split and sent in multiple pages.

  60. o Added the ability to specify which types of pages should be logged
  61. o Fixed a bug that prevented DDE from working under certain circumstances

  67. o Added a find feature that searches the pager list.

  72. o Fixed a bug where the dialing prefix digit was not used for
  73.   dialing either of the two voice numbers.
